Gender theme in new media art

The article presents artistic projects in which the issue of gender is actualized. above was carried out from position post-humanist ideas through study impact development technologies on modern socio-cultural processes. Thus, created different genres were analyzed, including post-cinema (“Night Walk for Edinburgh”, “A Total Jizzfest”) aimed at changing perceptions society, Ellen Pearlman’s opera “Emotionally intelligent” Artificially Intelligent Brainwave Opera” (AIBO), which, thanks to involvement artificial intelligence as an actor, opposition reinforced. Female Laptop Orchestra (FLO) project dedicated support female creativity, information and communication tools, combines music creation with research its activity. An important aspect considered defined interactivity, implemented by involving viewer process their creation. It found that, one hand, digital virtual space made it possible reduce importance social roles or affiliation, thereby leveling stereotype between author’s masculinity femininity. On other machine learning technologies, a new human author same capacity gradually emerging.
